Ukraine Gains Global Recognition in the Postal Services Sector

This week, the Universal Postal Congress is taking place in Dubai, with Ukraine represented by NCEC member Andrii Semenchenko (participating remotely).

At the event, Ukraine — represented by its designated operator Ukrposhta — was honored with the prestigious Rising Star Award for outstanding progress in the global postal sector among 192 operators. This recognition confirms that the Ukrainian postal service is a leader not only domestically, but also globally, even under the extremely challenging conditions of full-scale war.

As the national regulator, the NCEC ensures modern and transparent postal regulation that is highly valued by the international community. The active participation of the Ukrainian delegation in such global events signals that Ukraine is strengthening its institutional presence on the world stage and shaping a modern policy in the field of postal services.

The achievements of Ukrposhta directly affect service quality for citizens: timely delivery, reliable services in cities and the most remote communities — including frontline areas. This is also reflected in the dynamics of citizens’ appeals to the NCEC, which indicate growing public trust in the designated operator.

International recognition of Ukraine in the postal sector is the result of joint efforts — primarily of the designated operator, the Ministry for Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development, the NCEC, the specialized Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, as well as other government institutions and partners.

This success demonstrates that Ukraine is capable of growth and global integration even in the most difficult circumstances.
