About NCEC
NCEC - is a central executive body with a special status, national Regulatory authority of Ukraine in electronic communications radio frequency spectrum and the provision of postal services.
The peculiarities of the special status of the NCEC are determined by its tasks and powers and consist, in particular, in the organization and operating procedure of the Regulatory authority, in the special procedure for appointing members of the NCEC, in the special procedural principles of the Regulatory authority's activity and other institutional and administrative aspects.
One of the peculiarities of the NCEC’s activity is the guarantee of independence in its activities and decision-making within the limits of its powers defined by the Law, based on European principles and practices.
The main form of the NCEC’s work as a collegial body is its meetings. Decisions adopted at the meetings of the NCEC are binding for the undertakings operating in the fields of electronic communications, radio frequency spectrum, and postal communications.
The NCEC also takes part in policy-making activities in the mentioned fields, implements measures to ensure the quality of electronic communication services, protects the rights of consumers of electronic services, is one of the drivers of European integration on the way to Ukraine's membership in the European Union, in particular integration into the EU Single Digital Market, develops international and bilateral cooperation.
