Ukraine achieved extraordinary results at the Universal Postal Congress
Ukraine has been elected to two key bodies of the Universal Postal Union (UPU) — the Administrative Council and the Postal Operations Council. We received record support: 110 and 89 votes, respectively. At the same time, Russia and Belarus did not receive a single seat in these bodies.
Ukraine's designated operator, JSC Ukrposhta, received the prestigious Rising Star Award for significant progress in the development of the postal sector among 192 operators worldwide. We congratulate our colleagues on this recognition!
A number of important agreements were signed with leading countries — the United States, Canada, Great Britain, Australia, Poland, and Germany. This opens up new opportunities for international cooperation and the development of postal services.
The Ukrainian delegation at the Universal Postal Congress was represented by high-level officials: the Ministry of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the NCEC, and JSC Ukrposhta.
These achievements are not only international recognition of Ukraine's role in the postal sector, but also the result of the daily work of thousands of specialists in the difficult conditions of a full-scale invasion. It is also evidence of effective cooperation and partnership between state institutions.
As the national regulator, the NCEC ensures the stability and development of the postal market, supports international integration, and protects the interests of Ukrainian postal service users.
Together to victory!
