How to apply to determine the possibility of using a specific type of radio equipment and emitting devices (RE or RD)

DETERMINATION OF THE POSSIBILITY OF USING A NEW TYPE OF RE or RD ON THE TERRITORY OF UKRAINE

To obtain a decision from the NCEC for the Protection of Natural Resources and Environment on determining the possibility of using a specific type of RE or DR on the territory of Ukraine, the next documents must be submitted to the NCEC:

• STATEMENT on determining the possibility of using a specific type of RE or DR in the form given in Appendix 2;
• CARD of tactical and technical data of RE or DR, in the form given in Appendix 3 or 4;
• additional (clarifying) information (at the request of the subject of the request), in particular, regarding the comparison of deviations of the parameters of the RE or DR that may be present in the RE or DR during the conformity assessment in the case of the application of regulatory documents on confirmation of conformity (hereinafter referred to as the NDP) other than those specified in the plan for the allocation and use of the radio frequency spectrum in Ukraine as the main general standards for the relevant radio technology, type of transport communication line and its parameters.

The documents shall be submitted in hard copy to the Department of Document Support and Archive of the NCEC, or sent by mail to the NCEC's address.

The decision on determining the possibility or impossibility of using the declared type of RE or DR on the territory of Ukraine is made by the NCEC, based on consideration of the application for determining the possibility of using the declared type of RE or DR and the results of the technical examination on the issues of preliminary assessment of the possibility of fulfilling the conditions of electromagnetic compatibility of the RE or DR, taking into account ensuring the effective use of the radio frequency spectrum of Ukraine and the use of the RЕ of the declared radio technology.

The decision is published on the official website of the NCEC within three working days after its adoption.

A notification of the adopted decision shall be sent to the Applicant within three working days after its adoption to the email address specified in the application

At the request of the Applicant, the notification is additionally sent in writing to the postal address within Ukraine specified in the application
